Make ahead breakfast ideas to grab and go.
The fall and winter season is a busy time of year in our household. My son plays and loves hockey. With hockey comes a lot of early mornings. Between early practices, games and tournaments we are often in a rush in the mornings.
He always eats breakfast but often it isn’t the healthiest or most balanced. Sometimes it is a piece of bread as he is running out the door or a few mouthfuls of cereal. That isn’t gonna cut it. We needed a better option – and trying to wake a teenager any earlier doesn’t seem to be one of them. 🙂
I went looking for some healthy breakfast options that I could make ahead of time and that he could quickly eat or grab and go.
